aba0178lI wish…

That’s right. Baby #3 is coming this summer. Most likely the last week in July since I will be having a C-Section and get to go a week or so early!  Yay! Since I have gone to 41 weeks with both kids it is like 2 weeks early for me!

I am in my 14th week and feeling pretty good. The 1st Trimester was rough just in the fact that my hormones were all over the place and I was so incredibly tired all the time. I feel for Tyler as he picked up much of my slack. Since no one really knew my friends probably thought I was losing my mind since I was always tired and in workout clothes a lot! But I am feeling good now and just starting to feel like I am getting thicker.  You know those 20+ pounds I lost last year? Well, I am starting to find them again! :)

Both kids are excited. Hailee has a zillion questions and really really wants a girl!  But says she will not cry if the baby is a boy.  Haha. Cohen likes to lift my shirt to see a baby but otherwise his life is same as always.

So it is an exciting time at our house and can’t wait to see what we are having in about 6 weeks or so!

I’m Alive!

IMG_6074

Yes we are alive!  I can’t believe I have not posted anything since Thanksgiving.  I was all ready to catch up today but my camera cord is in Texas with Tyler. :)

Here are some small updates and will post some pics when Tyler gets back!

* Christmas was great.  The kids got way to much from everyone but have actually played with almost everything.  Hailee’s favorites were her new doll bed, jewelry box, and Princess Barbie Collection. Cohen LOVES his Lightning McQueen CD player, new cars and carrier, and McQueen blanket that Grandma Berry made.

*Saw the Blind Side with my Mom and Sister and it was my favorite movie I have seen in a long time. I can’t wait to buy it.

*Made New Year’s Resolutions.  More Water, FHE every week, less computer time, take more pictures, you know the usual.

* Hailee got her own library card and was super happy. We are reading the Ramona Books right now.  Anyone remember those?  I loved them growing up.

* Want to potty train Cohen really bad but he is afraid to sit on the toilet.  Anyone have suggestions??

* Tyler is traveling a lot this year at work.  Good and Bad.  Good he has a job, bad  is doing the single parent thing! :)

Our lives are not too exciting these days!  But I will post pics soon.  Here a picture my friend April took over Thanksgiving when she was visiting from Texas. I will post more on that later!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving week.  We got to meet up with old friends early in the week and always have fun with them.  I actually had to work on Thanksgiving Day so Tyler took the kids to Redding on Wednesday morning so I have 2 DAYS alone in my house. I met a friend for dinner and shopping. It was a great break.

Thanksgiving working was not too bad. I work with really nice people and I was able to leave somewhat early and Tyler saved me lots of food when I finally got to my Mom’s house. The kids had a great time up with Grandma and cousins from the Berry side. On Thanksgiving they built a bonfire and roasted marshmellows and played in the field below Tyler’s parents house. Toni says it is a new tradition. They also went and saw Planet 51 and Hailee got to have 2 cousin sleepovers.  We had a 90th Birthday for Tyler’s Great -Grandma. (Gam)  I got up early and found some good deals but also still have some rain checks I need to go and cash in.  Saturday was spent shopping with my Mom and SIL Kathryn and a yummy lunch at Olive Garden.  Sunday Whitney finally had her baby boy, Landon. She was such a tropper and looked great for being a week overdue.  We really had such a great time and can’t wait until Christmas for more time up there.

We have already had lots of December fun.  We got a tree and decorated our house inside and out. Tyler took the kids to a local place and went on a sleigh ride. Hailee had a performance at school and we make Rice Krispy houses.  This week we are heading out to see some local lights. My sister comes in Wed night and we are heading to Redding to see my Dad in Journey to Bethlehem, a Santa Workshop , and of course the new Princess movie. Should be lots of fun!!

Tyler’s sister sent this over and I got a good laugh.  Tyler now wants to grow his hair out like this again.  Yikes.

Thankful Tuesday

9719_detailToday I am thankful for my Willow Tree Nativity Set that arrived today. I got a GREAT deal online and was so happy to see it sitting on my doorstep.  That is another thing I am thankful for…coming home and finding fun packages on my doorstep.  It was fun to play with it with Hailee and talk about each piece. She cried though when I told her it couldn’t go in her room! :)

Thankful

In spirit with the week and taking a friend’s idea I am going to try and post this week about different things I am thankful for. Today I will do 2 things because I didn’t post yesterday.

1.

04.honda.odyssey.500My Honda Odyssey.  I never in a million years thought I would be writing these works. I LOVE LOVE it!  Words cannot express my love for it.  It is economical, convenient, and roomy.  It is not the newest flashiest model but it has everything I need. How did people live before automatic doors?

2. Jobs

SdWrkRvrSdE

My Work.

Tyler and I are both feel so grateful to have jobs in this time.  Financial Stability is such a blessing.  We are especially grateful for the job Tyler has and how quickly he found it after leaving his previous job.  We love the many perks and the flexibility as well.  I am so grateful for my job as well. It took me awhile to find the right job for me and am glad for waiting. They are very good to me and know that I have kids and church obligations.  Now that we have paid off our CC debt I find it hard to leave because it is such a good fit.  Good thing we still feel like it works for our family. And we want to get the car paid off. ;)

That is all for now. Let’s see what I come up with tomorrow. :)

Hailee lost her 1st tooth!!

Hailee lost her first tooth a couple weeks ago.  She wouldn’t let us touch it and it finally fell out in line at school!  My friend Jenn was standing with her since she had carpool that morning and grabbed the tooth for me and being the wonderful person she  took pictures for me!  The Tooth Fairy left Hailee $5 because that is all she had! :)  Next time she will make sure she has change.

New Moon

Some friends and I went to see “New Moon” tonight and had a great time.  The movie was just OK, but this was my least my favorite book.  But it was really fun to go early and have a night out and sit with all the screaming teenagers. But I am on Team Jacob…for sure! Too bad he is 17. :)  I am sure we will go opening night for “Eclipse” as well.
